Summary:
This position will have a primary focus on fitting and installing new VIP business jet interiors.
Job Description:
• Fitting cabinets
• Fitting headliner, sidewall, and dado panels
• Component buildup
• Removal and installation of existing interior furnishings, galleys, overhead bins, sidewall panels, ceiling
panels and floorboards
• Protect existing interior furnishing upon removal and installation from aircraft while in for maintenance
and/or modifications
• Ensure all maintenance and safety precautions are observed when carrying out assigned activities
• Communicate with Lead when tasks are completed
• Should be able to work with a Jr tech and provide instruction
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Promote company values, vision and mission and perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of applicable installation, fabrication or related experience.
Preferred Requirements:
• A&P License
• CRJ 200/700, Dash 8, ATR 42/72, & EMB 120/135/145 experience desired
Other Requirements:
• Experience covering panels with Ultraleather a plus, not a requirement
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation
• Ability to use hand/power tools and equipment associated with installation and removal of interiors
• Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small, restricted areas, lift up to 50 pounds and work any shift
• Must be computer literate
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of aircraft installation and/or fabrication processes applicable to the specific position, such as
removal and installation of galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, panels
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Must be fluent in English
