Job Summary:
The Electro-Mechanical Assembler will perform electro-mechanical assembly operations. This includes performing repetitive tasks and using the skills and tools required to perform these tasks. Performs all aspects of prototype assembly including assembly, installation, repair of cables, wire harnesses, sub-assemblies, verification testing, and final assembly.

Job Responsibilities:
- Experience in basic Electro-mechanical assembly skills like crimping, stripping, cable routing, staking, splicing, marking, labeling, and soldering.
- Performs verification testing of assemblies per specific instructions.
- Reads assembly drawings and applies special instructions in drawing notes.
- Completes company paperwork and follows company procedures, including shop floor orders, instructions, blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Reads shop floor orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. Ensures processes and procedures are compliant with regulations.
- Review, Identify, and communicate errors to supervision with suggestions and potential areas of improvement to assembly and drawings.
- Mentor peers and provide on-the-job training as needed basis.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures, and best practices including 6S and lean work principles.

Education/Experience:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates degree or equivalent technical training preferred.
- Experience as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler (use of electronic test equipment (digital multi-meter, oscilloscope etc.) preferred.

Qualifications:
Read and understand engineering drawings, parts lists, wire lists and system prints.
- Work individually with little guidance as well as cooperatively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, SharePoint etc.).
- Strong communication skills.
- Work overtime as requested.
