Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
• This position is responsible for generating the electrical drawing packages that the harness shop and avionics techs use to wire and troubleshoot avionics.
• The integrator needs to have experience creating schematics and systems integrations drawings in Auto Cad. ****
• Works with customers, under direction from program technical leadership, to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements and create electrical integration drawings
• Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications.
• Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Solves problems concerning, and provides other support of, fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
• Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
• Must have the ability to read drawings and fabricate wiring harness, install and ring out systems after installation and perform operational checks, functional checks and flight line troubleshooting.
• Responsible for performing and supervising Pitot Static and transponder certification, as well as functional checks on various Nav/Comm/GPS systems, Traffic systems, tactical radios etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• 8 years helicopter installation experience
• 4 recent years Garmin install and check out experience
• Must have AirBus and Bell Helicopters experience
• Experience preparing and coordinating technical documentation (engineering drawings, specifications, statements of work)
• Experience in developing technical requirements for a development program
• Experience interpreting various Engineering test data for Avionic and Electrical components
• Currently possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical, electronic engineering OR possess trade certificate and meet all experience requirements
• Experience in Aerospace engineering or Electrical engineering
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
• Minimum 2 yrs of Civilian experience particularly with Garmin and law enforcement equipment
