Job Description

General Summary:
Fabricate and refurbish aircraft interior cabinetry with minimal supervision.

Essential Job Functions:
• Disassemble and reassemble aircraft cabinetry with minimal supervision
• Ability to read shop drawings and blue prints
• Ability to fabricate cabinetry from scratch
• Strip laminate or veneer coverings from existing cabinets with minimal supervision and without damaging
substrates
• Cut, fit and trim laminate or veneer coverings as required with minimal supervision
• Repair damaged cabinetry as directed by the Cabinet Shop Supervisor or Cabinet Crew Chief
• Good knowledge of Client work instructions and process

Physical:
• Routinely lifts up to25 lbs, occasionally lifts up to 100 lbs
• Stands for long periods of time, with frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling and stooping
• Uses hands to reach, grasp and feel, with good finger dexterity
• Reads, writes, speaks and understands English fluently
• Visual acuity correctable to 20/20
• Works in confined spaces, extreme temperatures, noisy environments
• Exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes

Other:
• Ability to attain & retain AOA badge or Airport requirements
• Must possess minimum tooling required to perform duties assigned
• Regularly scheduled attendance required
• Must be able to work various shifts and overtime as directed
• Knowledge of shop tool


Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two plus years Cabinet and woodworking experience
• One year experience in light to medium sized business jet, preferred
