Job Description

Basic background are mechanics that have extensive reciprocating engine experience.  Anyone who spent a lot of time servicing jets and turbine’s is of little value to this position. 
Really need people with Cessna, Beech, Cirrus, Piper single/multi engine experience.
Looking for a candidate that is ready to grow with the company and stay around long-term.
Heavier on maintenance side than inspection side.

• Perform maintenance and repair on a variety of aircraft, ensuring compliance with manufacturers' and FAA
guidelines and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft malfunctions.
• Repair aircraft in accordance with manufacturers' and FAA guidelines and regulations, ensuring aircraft are
returned to service in an airworthy condition.
• Communicate job progression regularly with Team Leader.
• Communicate with manufacturer representatives as needed to expedite troubleshooting and obtain
technical information.
• Prepare documentation, repair and maintenance records, and other required paperwork in accordance with
regulations and procedures.
• Maintain and document work activity in the Work Management System (EBIS).
• If Inspection Authorized (IA), complete and sign off aircraft logbook entries for annual inspections.
• Coordinate with parts personnel to manage inventory levels and maintain stock for aircraft work histories.
• Research parts needed for aircraft and complete parts request forms in a timely manner.
• Assist in researching Service Bulletins, Service Letters, and Airworthiness Directives (ADs) for estimates
and progress decisions.
• Ensure airworthiness of aircraft, items, or components per FAA procedures; sign off and return aircraft to
service safely.
• Communicate courteously and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, and others.
• Adhere to all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions provided by Client.
• Comply with all safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment.
• Assist in estimating time and material costs for jobs; discuss estimates with Director of Maintenance.

Job Specifications:
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• F.A.A. certification (Airframe and Powerplant) in aircraft maintenance and repair.
• Minimum of five years of previous related experience.
• Must possess sufficient tools to perform job duties effectively.
• Flight School Maintenance desired but not required.
• Avionics troubleshooting and installation desired but not required.
• Course certifications from Lycoming, Continental, Cirrus desired but not required.
• Inspection Authorization (IA) desired but not required.
