Job Description:
As an A&P Technician, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting, repairing, installing, inspecting, and performing maintenance on customer aircraft. Adhering to specific guidelines outlined in manuals and regulations is vital, ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety policies, and participating in various aircraft maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
Perform and document work as per appropriate manuals and regulations.
Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements for factory, shop, and/or hangar positions.
Comply with Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Participate in 5-S activities.
Execute all work in a safe and timely manner.
Operate ground support equipment as required.
Conduct mechanical/electrical removals and installations.
Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed.
Collaborate with other maintenance disciplines as required.
Assist with fueling and/or de-fueling of aircraft as needed.
Assist with engine removal/installation as required.
Assist with aircraft component repair as needed.
Requirements:
As our ideal candidate,
You possess an A&P certificate.
You typically have a minimum of 0-2 years of aircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
You can interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
You can effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms regarding individual and/or aircraft status.
You have your own basic set of hand tools and can demonstrate inventory and control of tools.
You can obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required.
You are able to work unscheduled overtime, including non-scheduled work days and holidays.
You can work in seasonal/inclement weather outside.
You can obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA).
Experience on corporate jets is preferred.
You possess basic PC skills.
